Will shaving my back hair cause it to grow back longer, thicker or darker?
No. This is a common myth. If a hair is not cut at a 90 degree angle, the tip may appear wider than the hair shaft. This illusion has fueled the myth. In reality, hair will be the same thickness as before and will not grow in longer, thicker or darker. If this was the case bald men would regularly shave their heads to gain longer and thicker hair. Which brand of razor works in the Razorba®?
Use your favorite brand of razor or disposable. The most popular among Razorba users is the Gillette Fusion, and Gillette M3 Power. Look for a double-blade razor with moisture strip for best results. You can easily insert and remove a razor from the Razorba.

What's wrong with back hair?
It's not attractive. It can increase body order. Women, especially younger women hate back hair. And in our culture back hair is considered funny.

Why not battery operated?
You can do electric shaving with your Razorba War Hammer or Razorba Silencer and a Gillette M3 Power. A few years ago there was a spate of battery operated body shavers, that are no longer available. The problem with these cheaply made electrics is they break easily, have no warranty, and are not effective. Many are even disposable in nature because you can't replace the blade or foil! In any shaver, the blade and foil WILL wear out. The underlining problem is to make a Braun or Remington quality electric requires years of development and an eight figure plus R&D budget. The shortcut is to have a battery operated, generic, barely functioning, cheap, electric produced overseas. Creating a cheap battery operated shaver is not a big deal. Which is the best method to remove back hair?

Chemicals can be used to dissolve the hair. You’ll need a volunteer to apply it on you, wait a few minutes, and rinse it off. Then pull remaining hair off with a wash cloth, careful not to further irritate skin. Skin irritation and permanent scarring are side effects. The result is a sore red back, but the hair is gone. The hair will start growing back the next day in many cases. Looks red, but hair is gone.

Laser treatment is expensive, requires multiple treatments, and won't thwart new hair growth. CNN says "...the procedure feels like hot bacon grease splattering your skin." Read the article here.

Waxing hurts, ask any salon worker who waxes, and they will tell you. Waxing literally rips the hair from your back. Depending on your body, the hair will start growing back in a day to a week, not really worth the pain! If that’s not embarrassing enough, many salons charge per the amount of hair waxed. Expect to pay at least $50.00 per session, about $200.00 a month or $2,400.00 a year!. Make sure you plan ahead and make an appointment. Back will be a little red from the trauma, but hair will be gone.

Shaving can be done, but again requires a volunteer to do it for you. Shaving works very well, is inexpensive unlike waxing, and doesn’t harm your back as chemicals can. Depending on your body, hair starts to grow back in a day to a week. Looks great.
